ABOUT
CHRIS NGUYEN
IS A MULTIDISCIPLINARY
DESIGNER & DeSIGN DIRECTOR
My practice spans digital, brand and print, with substantial experience in real estate, hospitality and place-based brands. Print was the focus of my early work before digital became a larger part of what I do. That progression still shapes how I think about design. I see each discipline as a different way to communicate the same idea.
I care about the details, but also about how the whole thing comes together. I’m drawn to work that feels considered, well made and built to hold up over time. I also value working with people whose expertise goes beyond my own, bringing together designers, developers, photographers, writers and other specialists to make the work better than any one person could make it alone.
I’ve designed or creatively led more than 100 digital experiences alongside a broad range of identity and print work for clients including Hines, Brookfield Properties, H-E-B, Texas Medical Center, The Welch Foundation and Midway Companies.
BEYOND THE PAGE & SCREEN:
DESIGNING SPACES
My work has also extended into residential and hospitality interiors through space planning and styling. Some of the same thinking I bring to digital experiences applies to physical spaces, particularly how people move through them, understand them and use them.
Selected work has been featured in Dwell, Architectural Digest Mexico, Casa Vogue, Atomic Ranch and HGTV.
